Broken Bow Police Officer

The Broken Bow Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time police officer.

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, 21 years of age, must be a high school graduate or have a GED equivalent, possess a valid Driver’s License, and must be of good moral character with no felonies, domestic assault, or serious misdemeanor convictions. Benefits include a competitive wage, uniform, patrol unit to drive home, vacation, sick time, holiday time, and health insurance. Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification is preferred, but all applicants will be considered.

Broken Bow Lifeguards

The City of Broken Bow has lifeguard positions open for the 2018 swim season. Skills required include: strong swimming skills, and knowledge of different swimming techniques: willing to work days, evenings, and week-ends. Willing to enforce all state and pool regulations regarding safety. Need to complete and attend 30 hours of lifeguard training, and first aid. Applicants need to be 15 years of age or older by May 1, 2018. Apply by March 30th with the City Clerk’s Office in Broken Bow.

Seasonal Park Position

Broken Bow Park Department is now accepting applications for a seasonal Park Position. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license. Duties to include mowing, trimming, waste disposal, restroom maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Wages negotiable. Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s office in the Municipal Building or found online at www.cityofbrokenbow.org. Applications will be accepted until April 15th, 2018.

Broken Bow Park Department is now accepting applications for a seasonal part-time Park Position. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license. This position will be 2-3 days per week. Duties to include mowing, trimming, waste disposal, restroom maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Wages negotiable. Broken Bow Aquatic Center Assistant Manager

The City of Broken Bow has an assistant manager position open for the 2018 Aquatic Center. Responsibilities include Lifeguard supervision, assisting with first aid, limited pool maintenance, managing pool concessions, and needs to have good customer service. Must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends. Willing to enforce all state and pool regulations regarding safety. Must be willing to obtain a DHHS Pool Operator Certificate by passing an open book test. Must be 19 years of age or older. Wages negotiable.
